Producer Yash Chopra of Yash Raj Films has bagged the title of ‘Asian Filmmaker of the Year’ at 14th Pusan International Film Festival (PIFF) that was held recently… Director Kim Dong-ho presented the awards at the ceremony at Asia’s top film festivals held in South Korea. The entire group of elite personalities from Asian Film Industry was present for honoring Yash Chopra.
Speaking on the occasion, Yash Chopra uttered “You have to prove that you're good once again. You're only as good as your last film.”
Apart from winning awards, Yash Raj Films also had a major presence at the 14th PIFF with the screening of four of its films – Lamhe, Dhoom:2, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and New York in the ‘A Special Program in Focus: Retrospective on Yash Chopra’ section.
Kabir Khan, Director of New York was also present at the Festival accompanying Yash Chopra.
