Move over Khans, there is no matching Bachchan just yet

When you talk of silver screen, it is not that silver alone counts. There are gold and bronze too. Amitabh has never belonged to silver or bronze. He belonged to the precious element, i.e, the gold, from the time he made his debut in Hindi films in Saat Hindustani. For the second and third place, it should be a toss between Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.
From the days of the Angry Young Man to date, Amitabh has shown his mettle all through. He is more flambuoyant now than before. In Ek Ajnabi, his acting was fantastic. Neither Aamir Khan, nor SRK nor any Tom, Dick and Harry would be in a position to match Amitabh in such roles, when they grow up to his age. That shows that gold is gold and that it is quite different from silver, bronze, tin, copper or aluminium.
Amitabh is the greatest ever actor since he started to prove himself on the silverscreen. If there were anyone who could be rated above him, it must be from the lot, who preceded him. Say, for instance, Ashok Kumar, the unparallelled king of Indian cinema. Even Rajesh Khanna in his haydays, was more popular than Amitabh during his days, but the former failed to carry that charisma to his later years of his career, while Ashok Kumar remained the best ever till he breathed his last.
Thus, comparing a great with the less endowed natural talent would be an insult to the former.
