I have been following Tata Nano very closely since it was displayed for the first time. But ever since its booking started I am bit confused. First thing lot of papers are saying First One Lakh cars will be at INR 1 Lakh. But in practise this is not the case. I have been amongst first few lucky! customers and going to buy this small wonder at INR 2 Lakhs +. Even base model in our town is INR 1.45 Lakh plus. Just imagine we are at least price protected. What will be the price for retainees?? I am an ardiant fan of Tata Group and wish they would have been more straight forward in saying due to financial reasons this is no longer 1 Lakh but is 1.45 Lakh car.
